Low Noise Amplifiers for receiver front ends

Low noise amplifiers are critical part of receiver design and development. Having an LNA evaluation board or set of LNA boards allows a complete receiver front end system to be easily and quickly assembled and tested. Critical interactions with filters, antennas, and mixer can rapidly be evaluated.

LNA have been developed using several semiconductor technologies to achieve specific design and cost goals. Ask for our recommendations for your system. Assembled and tested LNA modules are available, e-mail us for pricing and availability.

ATF-54143 E-PHEMT LNA application board that can be configured for applications in the 500MHz to 2.5GHz range. LNA's using this design have been built for 900 and 2.4GHz applications. This board uses and LDO regulator for universal power supply selection. Gain at 900MHz is over 20dB.

We also have evaluation boards for the popular Philips BFP405 bipolar LNA useful for frequencies up to 2GHz.
