Valon 5012 dual synthesizer (ki6qp dual synthesizer) evaluation board is designed to accept the National Semiconductor LMX23xx series 20-pin TSSOP PLL chips. This family of PLLs are second sourced by a number of vendors incuding Fujitsu and Cypress Semiconductors. This evaluation board includes two VCO circuits with independant, buffered outputs. The VCO circuits can be assembled such that the UHF oscillator will operate in the 500-2500MHz range and the VHF oscillator will operate in the 20-500MHz range. This evaluation board can operate in a stand alone mode and will boot the PLL up on the preprogrammed frequencies using the included Parallax Basic Stamp microprocessor module.
