Having adequate test and measurement capabilities is an important part RF and microwave research and development and is what set us apart. Its not just about having the test equipment, which we do, but its all the other little bits and pieces of equipment that goes into having a working lab. Valon Technology has designed and built custom test fixtures and special test equipment for specific RF test requirements. Fixtures can be designed and fabricated for characterizing functionality as well as gathering S-parameter data. Since we are a small and self-contained laboratory, security and privacy protection is assured. This is a significant advantage when doing product patent infringement research or developing new products. |

Need to test a pre-production RF chip for functionality and performance is short amount time? We can develop a variety of custom test tools and device fixtures that make testing of complex RF devices possible and affordable. This is an example of a manually actuated fixture used to quickly test and evaluate a new transceiver chip while still in the product development stage. Fixture uses a zero insertion force technique and does not require the chip to be soldered to the test board while providing reliable results to 2.5GHz. |

Performance data for modules and devices is a complete service we can offer. We use modern network analysis techniques from 300kHz to 20GHz and can provide tabular data in Excel format or plots. We can even provide S-parameter data in various formats as well.
